The Boat

Sea J is a 25-foot center console Steiger-Craft designed and custom built in Bellport, Long Island. The boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha outboard, hosts the latest electronics, has a spacious deck, and is equipped with a Seakeeper stabilization gyro.  Perfect for the waters around Long Island both in-shore and off-shore, she can accommodate 1-4 guests with ample seating and carries all US Coast Guard safety equipment.  As mentioned, Sea J is equipped with a Seakeeper stabilization gyro which prevents the boat from pitch and roll. Guests worried about sea sickness can take comfort knowing that Sea J can significantly reduce the likelihood of getting motion sickness! Captain and crew take pride in her appearance and have her professionally cleaned on a regular basis.

With all charters Captain Jeff will monitor the weather and make sure to discuss conditions with you a few days prior. If we can’t sail due to the weather the trip will be rescheduled for another day or a deposit will be refunded.

Yes. If you choose to bring alcohol, please drink responsibly, and bring cans rather than glass bottles. As safety is our main priority. The Captain recommends moderation, and reserves the right to cancel the trip should an angler be too drunk or a danger to themselves or others.
